Vancouver and Seattle

While in Washington for Troy's wedding Nathan and I took a trip to Vancouver. Vancouver was such a beautiful experience and one we'll never forget. We went to Capilano Suspension bridge which was incredible. We found a huge frame and took our pictures in it! We found some tree's that were hundreds of years old. And of course the suspension bridge, it is one of the largest in the world. I thought it was amazing but Nathan couldn't wait to get off that thing. Scared him like crazy! Next we went rented a tandem bike and rode around Vancouver. This was an exceptional experience that I hope to do it again. The beauty of Vancouver is so unique because you have the water with he huge mountains and rainforest. We then went and walked around the city which is so pristine and so clean for a city that size. Then we headed over to Granville Island were there was a huge public market. That market made us so happy! There were so many incredible foods there we just couldn't get enough! So we would walk in get something come out on the pier eat it and repeat.... 6 times! My favorite were the huge blackberries and raspberries. I have never had anything like those in all my life. Nathan's favorites were the dough nuts. I am sure he wishes there was a doughnut big enough to wrap around his neck like a necklace so he could take a bite whenever his heart desired. We also stayed in the Hyatt downtown which gave us great views of the city.Drove up one of the most famous highways know for it's beauty. And this highway did not disappoint. What we saw was so incredible and along the way there were places to stop off and take hikes to see things like beautiful waterfalls.Overall Vancouver was such a special trip for us that we can't wait to go back. Lastly while in Washington we hiked to the ice caves with Nathans family and they were so spectacular. I had never seen anything like that before so it was a unique experience.
