While this blog is usually reserved for dedications of love between Polly and I, it would be an absolute shame if I did not give the necessary and long overdue shout out to my longtime friend and personal pilates instructor, Mr. Adam Andrew Snel. Would I go as far to say that Adam and I share somewhat of a Bromance? You bet I would. Adam is so good to me (and to Polly) that I must praise his niceties for all of cyberspace. He takes Polly and I out to dinner, buys me lunch at least once a week, facilitates my Xbox fix at any time, serves as the third counselor in the elder's quorum (because I ask him to help with every move and activity), plays basketball with me three times a week, and he has taught me the fine art of doiley weaving. And you know what they say about doiley weaving... "Give a man a doiley and he has a place to put his candy dish for a day. Teach a man to weave a doiley, and his candy dish will have a place for a lifetime." In this picture we presented Adam with a delicious chocolate cake, a present, and a card telling him how much we love him.

Here is the present we gave him, some new basketball shorts. Polly picked these up while on her shopping spree.
