We spent most of the time in Seattle doing wedding stuff, but on Sunday afternoon we went for a little hike with my family. This is the Meadowdale Beach trail. It is just a couple miles long but it goes through some old growth forest down to the beach. It took us a while though because our nephew kept stopping to eat all these nasty salmon berries.
This was a cool tree along the trail down to the beach.
Contrary to popular belief, the sun does shine in Seattle. We had really great weather the whole time we were in town. If the sun is out and we are at the beach, Polly demands a kissing picture. It's just how it is. I'm not complaining.
