24th Pioneer Celebration

For the Pioneer Celebration every year we go up to our cabin and then to Manassa Colorado. My dad took Nathan and I up to the top of Chama pass to go 4 wheeling. It was awsome. And so great to spend some time with just Nathan and my Dad.

Me and Lydia dancing. I can't get enough of her. I love it when she looks at me. And I could be perfectly content watching her do all of her knew tricks, folding her arms and waving and saying HI, all day. I also love how her legs have a mind of their own and bend in every direction, how she is always smiling, her little grunt like laugh, how she sticks her bottom high up in the air(it's a great trick) and how her soft little body just conforms right to you.

We had a family dance that we invited all of our cousins to. It was so much fun. We did a limbo contest and me Muff and Landon tied. I was impressed by my brothers back bending skills.

One of my favorite floats.

The fam at the parade.

This is our float that Boo put together. She is so creative and it turned out so great. I loved seeing the kids on the float, they did such a good job. Abe had his speakers hooked up to the float and was playing the music and the kids were dancing on the float, it was so awsome. Most of the kids on the other floats just did a weak little wave and not even a smile. So when you saw our float coming down it was quite the site with all the kids dancing. Good job Boo, you made our family real proud!

For the pioneer celebration we go to Mannasa for the Parade, 5k run, food and playing on the toys, well not me, the kids. This year me, Muff, Nathan, Abe, and Mike ran the 5k together. It was really fun.

One day we hiked to tabacco lake and then up to Conejos Peak which is one of the highest peaks in Colorado. It was so beautiful. This has always been one of my favorite hikes growing up.
