This is my little niece Lydia. It was her birthday on Feb 27Th and she turned one. These are some of my favorite pictures of her. She is such an angel and I get so excited to see her when I go to New Mexico. She has a very special place in my heart just because of who she is. My dad asked me to write a song about her because I love to write poetry. He wanted me to encompass in the song her diamond earrings and bows which make her even more captivating to look at. (My dad has bought her every color of ribbon and some cute diamond earrings) So I finished and it is a beautiful song that I am excited to have music put to it. Lydia really is an angel and I feel blessed to know her and be around her. She makes me so happy! And I must say that I also have so many beautiful and amazing niece's and nephews that bring so much joy into my life. I love being an Aunt, I just wish I could see them more often. It makes me sad that I don't see them for six months and then when I do they are a completely different little person. Oh... now I'm home sick. I have simply been away for to long and can't wait to go home!
